Whatever, I thought it was pretty damn funny. You've got to keep a sense of humor in these times. If you really want to be offended, turn on Family Guy some night. That show will give you plenty to be offended about.

Starting with the way it's drawn. Because the dad looks like he has a pair of balls on his chin, turns me right off...

In one of the episodes he says something to the effect of, "oh there they are" and takes his chin off and shoves it down his pants. Dudley doright had a big old pair on his chin too.

i didn't think it was offensive, and yes it was a joke ( and besides my kids are grown up now - why didn't i have the internet in '95)

theres plenty of serious (real) stuff in the world far more ofensive.

Like Liranfa says you gotta laugh in these times, at the very least in the words of the song "...smile, smile, smile..."

Dont mean to have such a dry personality, it's just when the words Child and Porn are together it puts off this major protection Vibe. It's all to due with this Parent Trip ive been on for the past 11 years. Dont take it personal man.

It has ALWAYS been that way. Presale did/does not mean that you are getting the best seats it is just another way of trying to get ANY seats. Chicago sold out in less than tow minutes. I was second in line at the store and could only get three tickets and they were behind the stage. Luckily I was able to get six through presale and they were great seats.

On a lighter note and certainly less expensive, heading out tonight to see Umphrey's McGee at the Fillmore here in Denver tonight. Tickets are a whopping $25.00. I know that some of you all may have trouble negotiating your walkers around the venues they play, but, do yourself a favor and catch one of their shows while they are still "cheap". They performed 114 shows last year so chances are they will be in a city near you. As far as The Dead go, this concert run is taking on a very negative almost grim vibe and it is self inflicted. I have tickets but at this juncture I wish I would have taken the money I spent on tickets, around $220.00, and donated to a charity since they are suffering severely from diminishing contributions due to the economy.
If I would have known about all the VIP ticket offings going on I would not have supported this tour. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth like biting into moldy bread. Do The Dead have a new management group handling this tour? Feels like it. Sadly, they should have taken a page out of John Elway's playbook and quit after the summer 2004 tour which is as good as they where going to get as The Dead. To paraphrase David Byrne, get yourself out of your barkolounger, shut off "Desperate Housewives" and go out and see some new music tonight, even if it means having some drunk 20 year old puking on your Cole Haan shoes.

I was wondering if that would happen.

However, those same tickets through ticketslave would have cost you an additional $30-40. I'm going to see Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings Sunday night. Face value is $26. After ticketmaster fees, the ticket prices was $45. I even get to pay for the privilege of printing my own ticket. How considerate.

I wonder how the mail order people made out.
